How we price Payvio's fee — and why it's published

A "free transfer" almost always means the cost moved into the exchange rate, where it is harder to compare. We split ours the other way: a small, flat sending fee that depends only on your payment method (bank transfer is the cheapest; card is faster but costs more, because card networks charge us for it), and a separate, published margin on the rate.

This means you can compare us honestly against anyone else — add our fee to our published rate margin, and that is the true cost of sending, full stop. No promotional rate that reverts after your first transfer, no fee that appears only after you have entered your recipient's details.

The fees page lists exact numbers by payment method and amount. If a number there ever changes, it changes on that page first — we do not adjust pricing quietly inside the app and hope nobody checks.
